My Kids Radio launched on July 28, 2014, on the radio frequency 103.2 in Vienna. The goal is to create an engaging program for children aged 2 to 10, with parents and grandparents as listeners also welcomed.

The streaming app aims to make the first and currently only children's radio in Austria accessible nationwide.

The My Kids Radio app is likely the simplest app in the store, designed to be user-friendly even for young children. Simply press the play button to start enjoying the audio content.

About the Program:

From 6:00 to 20:00, a specially tailored radio program for children airs with a colorful mix of kids' songs, short stories, audiobooks, and exclusive children's news.

The program is hosted by the cheeky little radio dinosaur RADINO, with active support from the entire family.

After 20:00, there's the relaxation zone for parents – perfect for moms and dads to unwind and relax.

Program Details:

• Wake up with Radino from 06:00 to 08:00: the music, stories, and information to start the day right.
• Radino's Head Cinema - Stories, Adventures, and Fun from 08:00 to 09:00.
• At Home with Radino from 09:00 to 12:00 for cool entertainment with boredom busters, lunch ideas, short stories, and lots of kids' songs.
• Radino's Playtime from 12:00 to 15:00 with play tips, exciting stories, and personalized music selection against boredom.
• Radino's Head Cinema - Stories, Adventures, and Fun from 15:00 to 16:00.
• Radino's Mini Disco from 16:00 to 18:00: a time to dance, jump around, and have fun with movement activities.
• Sleeping with Radino from 18:00 to 20:00 featuring anti-monster bedtime songs.

Vienna's relaxation zone on 103.2 from 20:00 to 06:00 offers stress-free music without hosts or news – exclusively for parents at www.mykidsradio.at.

About the Project:

"My Kids Radio" was conceptualized in 2011 as part of a project at Martin Luther University in Halle/Wittenberg (Germany). Since then, four enthusiastic radio enthusiasts and fathers have been working diligently on this project with passion and a limited budget. Peter, Andi, Franz, and Thomas extend heartfelt thanks to all those who have provided their services voluntarily or for a nominal fee.

Our Philosophy:

• My Kids Radio is Austria's first radio produced exclusively for children and parents in Vienna – by Viennese creators and reachable throughout Austria via the internet.
• It is also the first private radio following an almost public-service mission aimed at providing educational content for children.
• My Kids Radio voluntarily refrains from airing traditional ads or long commercial blocks to shield young listeners from excessive advertising. The project is funded through advertising partners who sponsor the program and subtly promote their brands. The creators of My Kids Radio are parents themselves and deeply understand the unique responsibility of such an offering for children.
